Samburu Country, Northern Kenya

– Pray against the spirit of fighting between the Turkana, Pokot and Samburu people over water, livestock and pasture land.

– Pray that the Lord God by His grace, will forgive these tribes for their bloodshed of innocent people as a result of tribal clashes.

– Pray against drought & poverty in this place which has put the people in bondage of fighting each other and cattle raiding.

– Please pray for Phase Two of our Clean Water Project to be started and completed quickly.

– Pray against witchcraft and the worship of idols and foreign gods.

– Pray that these people will get saved and follow Jesus.

Northern Kenya / Samburu / Turkana

– Thank God for providing property and a new church in Samburu country with the help of CRI.

– We thank Him for other construction projects completed on our land that are helping to bring people to Jesus and are providing for the poor.

– Praise Him for the funds raised to drill a well that will bring life, agriculture and unity to our community. (We have received the funds necessary to start Phase one of this project! $20,000! – Work will be complete in Sept. ’18) Phase two will require $20,000 more for solar power, pumps, pump house, water tanks and piping.

– We are now able to feed children in two villages twice a week and give them Bible studies to tell them about Jesus. This is good because many children go without food for many days here and their parents worship idols.

Southern Kenya / Maasai

– Thank you Jesus for allowing us to start paying our teachers at Anchored Hope Schools $125 a month! Because of this our teachers now make enough to stay with us and provide something for their families too. (Our goal is $150 p/m each = minimum wage).

– We are also grateful to God for providing the finances needed to start building a teachers living quarters in Maasai Land with cement floors, beds and locking doors.

– Several emergency food distributions have helped some of the poorest receive corn meal, beans and clean water enough for a family of five for a week.

– Prayer Request: We are now taking the necessary steps needed to start another Anchored Hope School in the village of Tinga! Please pray for the purchase of land and the funds needed to build the school. There is now no school in Tinga – Hundreds of children without the hope of an education.

– Thank you CRI for supporting nearly two hundred students in our scholarship program this semester! Thank you Jesus!

Oaxaca Mexico / Earthquake Relief

– Thank you Lord for providing finances to buy over one hundred water filters for the Huave Indians. Thank you for reaching out to so many falimies with the gospel while providing safe drinking water.

Cuba / Hurrican Irma / Relief

– Gracias a Dios! Thanks to God for providing finances through CRI to help many who have suffered so much.

Napels Florida / Relief

– Thank you Lord for providing a safe trip from California for our group to lend a helping hand. Working with Samaritan’s Purse was a joy! What a blessing to help our brothers in need!
